Our OverKnight visit program is an opportunity for accepted students to stay "overknight" with a current Gannon student. Because the OverKnight Visit Program takes you directly to the source – our current students and faculty – it is a great way to experience the academic and social atmosphere of Gannon University. During your stay, you will be able to eat in the cafeteria, attend classes as well as any Gannon functions that are taking place.
While your accommodations in the residence halls are free, we do encourage you to bring money for any activities or entertainment in which you might participate. You do not need to worry about meals; we will provide you with three meal coupons which you can use in the cafeteria and food courts during your stay.
Remember, you will be staying in a residence hall room with your student host. Therefore, you should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towel, and toiletries. Casual clothing and comfortable walking shoes will serve for all occasions during your visit. We recommend that you bring an umbrella and clothes appropriate for the season. Erie weather varies considerably, so come prepared. If you plan to park your vehicle on campus during your overnight visit, you will need a visitor's permit which you can obtain on Sunday when you arrive.
