Want to get a taste of Gannon life before you begin your freshmen year here? Still trying to decide if GU is the right fit for you? Either way, Gannon University's Knight with Scholars program is designed just for you! This invite-only event is an opportunity for students like you to stay "overknight" with current Gannon students to find out what its really like to eat, sleep, study and even play at GU!!

Knight with Scholars Highlights:

  • Meet your potential future classmates
  • Stay in one of our freshmen residence halls with a current student
  • Enjoy evening activities such as Trivia Night, Bubble Ball, and more!!
  • Attend a class in your proposed major of study
  • Participate in a hands-on learning experience
  • Enjoy lunch hosted by University President, Dr. Keith Taylor
  • Talk with faculty and see first-hand their enthusiasm for their academic programs
  • Check-in will begin at 3:30 pm on Sunday. Advanced registration is required.


  • 3:30 p.m. Check-in opens
  • 4:00 p.m. Welcome and Ice Breaker Activities
  • 5:00 p.m. Meet your Host
  • 6:00 p.m. Dinner
  • 7 – 11:00 p.m. Let the Games Begin
    • Bubble Ball @ Recreation and Wellness Center
    • Just Dance Party @ Recreation and Wellness Center
    • Trivia Night @ The Knight Club
    • Play pool, pong and other assorted games @ North Hall


  • 8:00 a.m. Coffee Hour in Yehl Ballroom
  • 9:00 a.m. Attend of Class in your program of study
  • 10:30 a.m. Participate in a hands-on learning experience
    • Patient Simulation Center (Nursing, PA, Respiratory Care, Radiology)
    • Human Performance Lab (OT, PT, Sport and Exercise, Nutrition and Human Performance)
    • Center for Communication and the Arts (Humanities Majors)
    • Forensic Investigation Center (Social Science Majors)
    • Biomedical Engineering Lab Demo (Engineering/Computer Science)
    • Business Simulation (Business Majors)
  • 11:30 a.m. Break
  • 12:00 p.m. Presidential Luncheon
  • 1:00 p.m. Depart Campus
